I finally managed to get the Subaru BRZ out on the track for an HPDE event. It also was my first time on Summit Point’s Shenandoah circuit. Unfortunately the engine developed a rod knock during the first session and actually seized up before I managed to pull over in a safe spot. Not quite how I wanted the first outing to go.

I put together a video to show what the engine sounds like now and some thoughts on how I’m planning to proceed.
